Douglas spent over 17 years working in the global beauty industry, most notably with The Estée Lauder Companies where he learned the art and business of beauty. He is now an Executive Partner at Gartner, Inc. where he advises top leaders on best-in-class strategies, value realization and executive development. Both personally and professionally, Doug is dedicated to helping others achieve their goals and embrace their inner beauty.
Doug's inspiration
Sarah has spent over 15 years as an esteemed NYC stylist and educator as well as an avid social entrepreneur. She first brought her talent, enthusiasm and expertise to establish our very first salon solution and built the foundation upon which our beauty education stands. Outside of being one of NYC’s best stylists, Sarah has taught in Africa, Cambodia and inner city NYC as she offers vocational beauty opportunities to young women who do not have the financial means or access to a proper education.
Sothearen received her university degree from the Royal University of Phnom Penh where she studied business. After spending a few years working in the service industry, Sothearen decided she wanted to do more to help the distressed women in her country become more financially independent. That choice brought her to lead our team running the salon.
Torng Seav has over 10 years of hairdressing experience in Cambodia. She spent many years working in Battamabang before moving to Siem Reap and joining the Vimean Beauty+ Team. Torng Seav has a lot of experience with Western and Asian hair and can provide valuable consultations for up-dos and weddings. With a heart of gold and a love of the trade, she enjoys working and growing in the team.
Sovannary joins the Vimean Beauty+ team from the Lotus Beauty Salon in Siem Reap, where she built a great reputation as an excellent makeup artist and event hair stylist. She loves making others beautiful and confident with her arts of beauty. She is always working hard to improve her skills and satisfy more customers. She is also excited to share her knowledge with others.
Linh is a Master Candidate in Marketing at New York University and the Co-founder of Student Exchange Vietnam, an international education initiative. She has three years working in the education-business sector and six years volunteering in NGOs and women empowerment projects. Inspired by the idea of empowering women with education and sustainable business, she joined the Beauty+ Network to help spread the impact of beauty.
